The St. Paul Canadiens Alumni Foundation is celebrating the heritage of junior hockey in St. Paul with the launch of its new website and social media pages.
The foundation is pleased to present https://stpaulcanadiensalumni.com and the complementary social pages on Facebook and Instagram @stpaulcanadiensalumni.
“We are thrilled to move forward with more community initiatives and continue to highlight the heritage of the Canadiens brand and its history with St. Paul,” said alumni board president Patrick Lamoureux.
The alumni foundation has been working with Connected Media Inc., the parent company of Lakeland Connect, to bring together a brand demonstrating the importance of heritage, community and hockey in St. Paul.
“We recognized that if we wanted to be a world-class organization and attract strategic partners that align with our initiatives, then we needed to up our brand identity,” said Lamoureux.
This website and social pages also help supporters, donors and the public easily access information on foundation events, initiatives and fundraisers.
Last year, the foundation hosted a Montreal Canadiens Alumni Game, an Indigenous Alumni Game, and a fundraising gala. For these events, they brought NHL players and female Olympic hockey players to local schools and communities to showcase Indigenous communities’ relationship with the Canadiens.
“We have big plans for the future and creating the website and social pages are the launching pad to executing those plans.” Lamoureux said.
There is a call for strategic partners who want to help further the Canadiens brand and bring prestigious events, such as the alumni games to the community.
